Your choices
Optional analytics is off until you opt in. Accepting, rejecting, or choosing categories does not prevent you from using the site. You can change your choice at any time using the Privacy settings link at the bottom of the homepage, Terms & Travel Disclaimer, or this privacy page. When you withdraw active analytics permission, the page refreshes to stop the loaded analytics code; unsaved activity may be lost. Withdrawal stops future collection but does not automatically delete data already collected.
We apply these choices to visitors worldwide. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional analytics disabled, including when an earlier choice allowed it. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our analytics configuration.

Plans you explicitly save use local browser storage so you can retrieve them on this device. This requested feature does not depend on analytics permission. Use Saved plans to remove individual entries, or clear site data in your browser. Shared plan links contain your selected trip settings; anyone receiving a link can read them.
If your browser blocks storage, the site may ask again on your next visit. Choices are recorded in this browser, not in an account, and should be set separately on each device.
Google Analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics receives usage and device information, such as pages viewed, interaction events, browser/device details, identifiers and network information. We use reports to understand and improve the site. Google processes this information under its service terms and privacy policies; processing may take place outside your country, including the United States. See Google’s privacy policy and Google Analytics privacy information.
The cookie duration above is not the same as Google’s server-side data retention. For details about account-level retention or a request concerning already collected data, contact us. We do not promise that changing a cookie setting erases past analytics records.
Operational information and messages
Our hosting provider processes ordinary connection information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Please do not send sensitive information unnecessarily. These operational and correspondence records are separate from optional analytics.

Links to businesses, travel sources, email services and sharing destinations take you to services with their own privacy practices. Use a link or sharing feature only when you want to contact that service.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, object to processing, or complain to your data-protection authority. Email us to make a request. We may need enough information to identify the relevant records and verify a request without asking for unnecessary details. You can reject optional storage and continue to use the site.
