Where you arrive
Nassau Cruise Port opens into downtown Nassau. Its Arrivals Plaza has a taxi stand; walking is an option for a compact downtown day.
Getting around
Choose a walking loop for downtown or arrange a taxi for a farther stop. Confirm the fare and return pickup before setting off.
Make time for
Junkanoo Beach is close to downtown and the cruise port, with food and drink options nearby. The port describes a 13-minute walk; PortBow allows 15–25 minutes from the public exit, plus separate pier access time, to accommodate a slower pace.

Queen’s Staircase
A limestone passage and historic stairway below Fort Fincastle.
30–60 minutes to visit
The staircase is a substantial stair climb. View the lower passage without climbing if that better suits your group. Fort admission is separate.

Bahamian Cookin’
Conch fritters, cracked conch and traditional Bahamian plates. A useful downtown stop for local cooking.
Where: Parliament Street, downtown Nassau, near Parliament Square.
Allow BSD 20–35 per adult for lunch (PortBow estimate). The online menu lists six conch fritters at $7.50; confirm currency and current prices when ordering.
The restaurant currently lists weekday lunch service. Check your port-call day before making plans.
