PLEASE READ BEFORE PLANNING OR TRAVELING

Terms & Travel Disclaimer.

Last updated: September 8, 2026

PortBow is a starting point for research, not a source to rely on alone. Information may be incorrect, incomplete or out of date. Independently confirm every material part of your trip with your cruise line, port, transport provider, attraction or appropriate official authority before booking, paying or traveling.

1. Purpose and scope

These terms describe the conditions for using PortBow.com and its guides, planner, suggested outings, saved plans and shared links. “PortBow” refers to this website and its operator. Read these terms before using the service. If you do not accept these conditions, do not use the planner or rely on its content to make travel decisions.

PortBow provides general travel information and illustrative planning suggestions. It is not a cruise line, travel agency, tour operator, booking service, navigation system or emergency service. A generated, saved or shared itinerary is not a reservation, ticket, confirmed route, professional recommendation or assurance that an activity is available or suitable for you.

2. Information can change or be wrong

Content may contain mistakes, omissions, outdated details or calculation errors. Prices, opening hours, admission rules, terminals, routes, transport services, travel times, accessibility, weather and local conditions can change without notice. A review date indicates when sources were reviewed; it does not mean that every detail is current, independently verified or applicable on your travel date.

PortBow does not provide live monitoring of ships, delays, traffic, weather, closures, availability or emergencies. We may update or remove content, but do not promise a particular update schedule, individual notifications or continuous accuracy, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Saved plans, shared links and copied information can also become outdated. Recheck them before your visit and when circumstances change.

3. Verify your plans independently

Before making arrangements, confirm your actual arrival terminal, disembarkation arrangements, all-aboard time and ship-time rules directly with your cruise line or onboard staff. Confirm opening dates and hours, admission, prices, cancellation terms, meeting points, transport availability and return arrangements directly with each provider. Check current official travel guidance, entry requirements and local restrictions relevant to your circumstances.

Assess whether each activity suits your health, abilities, mobility needs and travel companions. Seek qualified advice where needed. Do not treat a listed destination, external link or suggested outing as a verification of a provider’s qualifications, insurance, safety or accessibility. When information conflicts, obtain clarification from the responsible provider or authority rather than assuming PortBow is correct.

4. Returning to your ship

You are responsible for returning to your ship before its required all-aboard time and following the cruise line’s instructions. The planner uses the times and terminal you enter. It does not confirm those inputs, convert ship time to local time or account for every delay.

Transfer allowances, calculated return times and suggested buffers are estimates, not guarantees. They may be inadequate for queues, traffic, tendering, security, pier access, weather, breakdowns or changes to the ship’s schedule. A planned terminal return is not the same as being aboard. Allow whatever additional time your actual circumstances and cruise line require. PortBow does not monitor your progress, alert your ship or arrange assistance if you are late.

5. Budgets, third parties and illustrations

Displayed budgets are editorial per-adult USD allowances, not quotes, fare guarantees or promises about total costs. Taxes, exchange rates, tips, private transport, equipment and optional activities may change the amount you pay. Confirm the full cost directly before committing.

Third-party websites and services operate independently under their own terms and policies. PortBow does not control their content, performance, cancellations, refunds or handling of your information. Linking to a source does not create a partnership or guarantee its accuracy. Artwork is decorative and may be generated or stylized; it is not a map, navigation aid or evidence of actual destination conditions.

6. Service availability and your saved information

Features may be unavailable, interrupted, changed or discontinued. Keep a separate copy of essential travel details. Saved plans are stored in your browser and can be lost when storage is unavailable or browser data is cleared. Shared links reveal the itinerary settings to their recipients and may recalculate using updated site content. See About & planning notes for details about storage and sharing.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability, availability, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. PortBow does not warrant that the site will be error-free or that following an itinerary will produce a particular result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PortBow, its operator and contributors disclaim liability for losses or damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the website, its estimates, omissions, errors, saved plans, shared plans or third-party links. This includes, where legally excludable, missed ships or connections, delays, canceled activities, additional transport or accommodation expenses, lost bookings, lost data, property loss, personal injury and indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

These exclusions apply only where lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Applicable mandatory law controls where it conflicts with these terms.

9. Responsible use and changes

Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to interfere with its operation, bypass security or misrepresent a sample plan as a confirmed booking or verified instruction. Personal planning and sharing through the site’s features are permitted.

We may revise these terms prospectively by publishing an updated version and revision date. Review the current version when planning a new visit. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have under applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

10. Contact and corrections

For questions or to report information that may be inaccurate or outdated, contact Info@PortBow.com. Include the page and detail concerned. This inbox is not monitored as an emergency or real-time travel assistance service.
