Where you arrive
Old San Juan piers put you beside the historic district. The Pan American piers are across the harbor in Isla Grande; select that terminal to add transfer time and a larger budget allowance.
Getting around
Explore Old San Juan on foot if the route suits your mobility. Cobblestones, slopes and exposed fort grounds mean this is not a step-free itinerary.
Make time for
Paseo de la Princesa offers a waterfront stroll. El Morro and San Cristóbal are managed by the National Park Service; check current hours and admission before choosing a fort visit.
